Anderillium’s Blue-Ringed Octopus Blue

The title card for Anderillium Blue-Ringed Octopus Blue. It shows a small bottle of ink on top of a swatch of the blue ink.

This is one of my favorite blues. It’s bright, cheerful, and just kind of a delight to use. It was the second Anderillium ink I ever used, and I had it in this pen for a couple of years straight.

You can find it at their website and from many of your favorite retailers. Check out my affiliate codes link above to see if I can save you a bit of money on your orders. Anderillium sent me some of these little bottles years ago, and that’s what you see here. The 45ml bottles are what you’ll usually find instead of these little ones.

A page of writing with this awesome blue ink.

The price is great, the bottles are fun, and I love the color. The only issue is that it’s not waterproof, so keep it away from the ocean.

Maruman Croquis is a sketch paper, but it’s also awesome to write on. This ink shades and occasionally even sheens on this paper.

This is on old-school Tomoe River paper.

This is a sugarcane paper that you can’t find anymore, unfortunately.

Here’s the ink compared to some classics and some other inks that you might want to hunt down. (Click them to enlarge.)
